I got positive replies to the list-style update last time, so let’s do it again.
- It’s been a week with Brain Age. I’ve got my Brain Age to 29, but now I’m reading stuff on the internets saying that really I’m probably just adapting to the games and that there really isn’t much to the theory behind it. Oh well, it’s still fun and it does seem to wake me up a bit, even if it’s pure placebo effect.
- Lisa wrote up some thoughts on a CD she “stold” from my car the other day, Will Smith’s Lost and Found. I didn’t like the album at first, but got an odd desire to listen to it a couple of weeks ago. It’s really not too bad in retrospect, I was just really burned on “Switch” at the time.
- This weekend felt way too short. I hung out with a friend in WoW for some hours on Saturday, then met Anthony and Audra for lunch, and went to Best Buy for another performance and to get $20 back, since the PS2 dropped from $150 to $130 and I was still within the 30-day price guarantee thing. I didn’t wind up buying anything.
- I’m seriously contemplating stopping by Best Buy again today, in part because it’s fun to play Guitar Hero there (your laugh here), and in part because Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children hits today. I watched a dubbed version back around the JP release, and while I really enjoyed it, it was annoying to have to read it. I’m looking forward to the English version, not to mention that my PS2 refund pretty much pays for it.
- On Sunday, we hung out with Lisa’s parents, shopping for trees for their land. It was way the heck too windy to be out, but one benefit of shopping for trees is that while walking through uprooted forests, it breaks up the wind, so aside from some allergy flaring, it was pretty nice.
- We bought my nephew Isaac a Woody doll from Toy Story. He is absolutely in love with it. it’s all he’s wanted for awhile, I guess, and we fulfilled that desire. We’d met them for dinner on Friday, then we went looking for Woody with Isaac at Target, but there was none there. Lisa insisted on buying this cute shirt at the mall, so after we parted ways with them, we went to the mall to get that, and got Woody in the process. We took it over to their house that night, and when we walked in, he was all “Hi Auntie! Did you find my Woody?” with these big puppydog eyes, and Lisa was beaming and said “Yes we did, sweetie” and handed him the box. He exploded into a series of “Thank you!” repeatedly. It wasa the cutest thing ever.
- Seriously, I need to lose weight. Seriously.
- I’ve discovered in WoW that not only can I buy an essence of water for 7g, then transmute it to an essence of air and sell it for 15g, but I can do this flip daily. That’s an 8g or so a day profit. Let me tell you, that’s damned exciting. If I’d take the time to farm some waters, I could be making even more profit, but I’m kinda lazy, and farming can get so boring solo.
I suppose that should wrap it up for now. My break’s pretty much up. More later!
We should promise to shout at each other every day about health.
I hereby promise to shout at you. RAR.
Update or I’ll slam your fingers in a door.
DON’T MAKE ME PROVE THAT I WILL.
