This weekend was great. Lisa and I saw Shrek 2 with Nasser and Deszarae on Friday night, after having some pizza at a local place called Poppi’s. Good food, good company, great evening.
Saturday saw us visit our gym, specifically the outdoor pool in the back. I have a bit of a sunburn on my shoulders (and a rather strong one on my head) but it was awesome. I spent most of the time in the water, where Lisa spent most of the time tanning (she burned a little too). Later in the evening, we had dinner at a great restaurant called Copeland’s. After dinner, we went to the mall and bought me this nice Nike hat, and then we went to a big club called Graham Central Station. I can’t recall if I’ve posted about the other time we were there. This time it was a lot less smoky, and we danced in each of the three dancing clubs even. It was great. Anthony and his girlfriend, Audra, joined us at the club. We were there until about midnight. It was a blast.
Today was a bit of a more restful day. We cleaned a bit in the morning, had a great lunch at Garduño’s, looked at a model house, and Lisa cooked up a great dinner. Overall, a great weekend. Check out the moblog if you want some pictures, of the hat for example.
On an aside, I’ve upgraded to the official WordPress 1.2 release – I was on WordPress 1.2 beta RC2, but now that it’s got a golden release, I’ve upgraded. Eventually I believe that I’ll be able to switch the moblog over to my local site using WordPress, which would be great. Right now, I have to use a free service with advertising, and that’s not nearly so fun.

And you forgot to mention the 18 holes of golf you played on Saturday. Tsk, tsk.
Okay – in between the pool and dinner there was that round of 18 holes of golf – to be fair, it was golf on Xbox Live using Links 2004, not real golf like you make it sound – but yeah, it was good. :)
