Something for June

I’ll be honest and say that quite literally, I’m only posting right now because I really hate the thought of missing a month. So, here’s some quick updates. I’m looking at recent posts (which is a funny way to phrase it because they’re far from recent), and using that as a basis.

• Two people signed up for Revolution MoneyExchange through me. Not too bad. You two, along with the initial money, paid for my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift. Thank you.
• I still think about companionship a lot. What does it mean to be a good husband? A good family member? A good friend? I wouldn’t say the questions keep me up at night or anything, but I do want to be the best person I can be.
• I’m still not happy with any photo sharing systems, be it Gallery2 or Flickr or WordPress stuff. I want to do some rearranging there. Eventually. Obviously, this site hasn’t been my first priority lately.
• We’ve had our new camera for three months or so now, and still absolutely love it. The SD750 has fallen into the very rare realm of electronic purchases where I’ve felt no remorse afterward. It’s a wonderful camera that I’d recommend to anyone for just about any purpose.
• Still keeping the beard at bay. I do seem to have to shave more after having grown it out, but I’m not sure if I’m just imagining that or what.
• I still go back to Hulu and flip through SNL content at downtimes — breaks at work, over lunch, etc. It’s a great source of humor.

And to wrap things up, I’ll mention briefly that we got a new puppy back in May. She has a ridiculously long and dorky name related to World of Warcraft, but we call her Lily for short.

It’s a lot easier to update, be it at a computer or out and about using my cell phone, so if you’re not already following me there, well, follow me on Twitter. I’ve got over a year’s worth of stuff in my head that I want to write about. Some of it may well be overdue, and I should throw it out of my mind like the lumpy milk it is, eating up space and stinking up the joint, but much like my fridge, I don’t clean it out like I should. Things have been really busy lately, but hopefully I’ll be able to update some more soon. If nothing else, I’d like to do a Lily picture post.
