Pirates and Lists

I wrote this little blurb last year, and decided that it’s worth reposting!

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I have a plugin set up in Wordpress that auto-filters the site to show up as a pirate! You can also make this site speak in pirate anytime you want. There’s a number of filters available, such as Elmer Fudd, Jive, Swedish Chef, and Kraut. In an effort to kick myself a bit, I’m going to write up a list of things I still want and/or need to blog about. Maybe seeing this list here will help me actually do so.

• THorum trip back in July. I posted a summarized bullet set, but I’d like to take the time to write it out in a bit more detail, just to remember. I suppose I could even backdate it, but I don’t like doing that. It makes me feel guilty.
• Trip to Dallas last weekend (September 16-18). It was absolutely awesome, even if some fool hit us in the parking lot.
• Thoughts on the LAN gaming centers that I’ve visited in town. I actually have the post mostly written but have wound up sitting on it since like June, and now it feels old. It’s still sitting there, taunting me as an unpublished post.
• Health stuff. I had a bad gout flareup and am hopefully on the edge of some life changes to fix my weight and such.
• Thoughts on GTD, something I’m sort of trying now.

I suppose that list is big enough for now. Have fun talking like a pirate today!
