This weekend seemed to breeze by. Highlights include:
- Seeing War of the Worlds. It was pretty good as that sort of movie goes. I’m generally not an action sorta guy, but it worked well. I don’t think it was up to par with Spielberg’s quality in general, but it was enjoyable.
- Purchasing a bike. Lisa and I both got bikes. It’s been fun to go riding again, something I haven’t done in years.
- Seeing Carlos. Meeting John.
- Having three days off.
- Lots of good food at a family friend’s house.
- A nap.
I’ve been playing with Lisa’s iPod mini quite a bit, and I think that in general, I actually prefer my iPod shuffle. I only keep the cream of the crop of my music on there, so I’m just about guaranteed to only hear what I want to hear, and it’s easy enough to update as my musical tastes ebb and flow.
I feel like my writing quality on the blog has dramatically decreased, and not just in terms of the quantity. Something isn’t right. Here’s to hoping I feel better about blog quality over the next few weeks.

Hey - I think we all go through major periods and phases when writing in the our blogs is not so
fresh and wonderful. I don’t have any amazing and articulate advice on how to spice it up. Hopefully
it’ll perk up for you soon.
