I’m quite sleepy now, and am going to bed, but I just wanted to hop on here really quickly because I wanted to get something out.
Through a small chain of events this evening, my mind got stuck on my stepdad, John, who passed away roughly a year and a half ago. Here’s my initial post [...]
As the two prior posts point out, I was caught by a huge storm out of nowhere. It was clear, and then this storm rolled in quickly. The sky went from beautifully bright to nearly pitch black within a span of maybe thirty seconds. It was amazing. I did an audioblog post about it too, [...]
September 29, 2004Uncategorized2 commentsA picture just seconds after the first one, but that I didn’t have a chance to upload until now. Look at this thing!

Such a unique storm.

So, I had to take Lisa back to the airport today. That was really hard. I know why she has to go out to Oklahoma, and I know that it’s for good reasons, and I know that she’s doing okay (although she’s had some hotel and car issues already), and I know that I’ll see [...]

Adobe proposes new format for images
I’m a big digital camera enthusiast – well, maybe not that big, but I really enjoy having a digital camera. That said, I’m not a fan of the JPEG format that it primarily uses, mainly since I know there’s some information loss. I could take photos in Canon’s raw [...]
Best Mexican food ever. This post is just for Carlos. Such good food. Yum!

There was much rejoicing. It’s very nice to have her home, even if only over the weekend. I don’t know how much I’ll be updating over the weekend, but I’ll at least make an effort to maybe do a quick mobile photo blog (mophoblog) entry or two while we’re out and about.
September 24, 2004Uncategorized1 commentI still have 39 of these things left from our open house three weeks ago.

This Dork Tower comic made me laugh. For awhile, I felt like the main character in this strip (the one who snaps). I think Japan has a fascinating culture too, but I’m just not as into it as some people, and sometimes those really obsessed fanboys really get to me. Anyhow, enjoy the strip. It’s [...]
September 23, 2004UncategorizedNo commentsI tend to sit on AIM quite a bit. Just about anytime I’m at a PC, I’m on AIM. Today I was having some issues connecting (due to my ISP), and somewhere along the lines of trying to resolve my issues, I ran across this page, where you can sign up to be a part [...]
September 23, 2004UncategorizedNo commentsI bought the Star Wars Trilogy. It’s wonderful. Go see this PvP strip if you’re one of those people complaining about the changes.
September 22, 2004Uncategorized3 commentsDoing a test of another service for moblogging.

Edit: This works! I’m overjoyed! airblogging.com allows for me to post with my cell phone and have the image store within my own wordpress install. The name the image gets is incredibly arbitrary, but I don’t care too much about that. What really matters [...]
So, I’m back home. Most of you already know that. I’ve probably talked to you on some instant messaging or phone system by now, or you have just inferred such, considering my massive amounts of posting lately. Moblog systems are nice. I’m just nervous about relying so much on Flickr. Maybe they’ll add an option [...]
September 21, 2004Uncategorized1 commentAlready back in New Mexico! Just 200 and some miles to Albuquerque!
September 20, 2004Uncategorized1 commentGetting going early today!
After edit: This was 5:21 in Central timezone, so relative to my home timezone, it’s really more like 4:21 (and you’ll note the post time says 4:24). Just thought I’d toss that out there. I was on the road by 5:45 Mountain timezone.
Today is day three of my four-day weekend to visit Lisa. As you know, day one was a lot of commute and then a great dinner and some nice shopping.
Yesterday, we went out for some Chinese at this one restaurant that I don’t recall the name of, and it was good. I mean, I’ve had [...]
Survivor: Oklahoma! What a trip. They're competing for a car. No interacting with the crowds, and only rice for food, with the daily reward challenge possibly providing them with fair food.
