This update is primarily for those who tend to communicate with me through one of the various instant messaging protocols.
I’m not online right now because I’m installing a gob of software on to my new machine at work. I’m going from a 1.5GHz Pentium 4 up to a 3.2GHz Pentium 4, and from 512MB of RAM to 1GB. It’s quite nice. However, there’s a lot to be installed so that I can work properly, and as such, I’m doing all of that now. I’m sitting through Microsoft Visual Studio.NET right now. I’m not a big fan of it, but it’s a part of the job.
Also, I miss Lisa quite a bit. She’s out of town, for those of you not “in the know.” She’ll be returning on Thursday, then leaving again on Monday for a few weeks, and then possibly going back out after a week at home for up to a month. That part’s subject to change, as is anything with her company. It’s really weird to wake up without her there, and I can’t wait for her to be home again. I love you Lisa.

In regards to your new PC: color me jealous.
Yeah, I’m just getting my PC set back up, tons of fun. I wish I could ditch the Windows part of this and just stick to Linux, more work but more fun, but then I need to ba able to run Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Deus Ex. Especially Deus Ex, that’s essential.
Also, my PC’s a 1.6Ghz AMD Athlon with 512MB of RAM, so I’m quite jealous too. Then again, it’s got like three hard drives totaling I think 130GB, a wireless keyboard and mouse (Logitech MX Duo, oh yeah!), and two blue LCD fans, so I guess it’s kind of a wash :P
Plus I built it myself, so I get all warm and fuzzy when I use it. Except when it doesn’t work, then I get all hard and prickly, but mostly it’s warm and fuzzy all over.
