A number of my more faithful readers are probably aware that Lisa and I have been working on buying a house. It’s a beautiful house and will make for a lovely home for us. However, I had been skeptical about posting about it, as it reminded me somewhat of the Jeep incident (reference links), and [...]
June 30, 2004Uncategorized5 commentsHaving these roses on my desk, and watching them open up, helps me to understand why it is that women generally seem to love flowers. Yesterday, these roses were much more closed. Today, they have opened up some, and it’s quite amazing. There are so many layers that I’ve just never noticed. Also, as they [...]
June 24, 2004Uncategorized3 commentsI would be remiss if I were to not mention that today is my fourth wedding anniversary! I was really sleepy when I got out of bed this morning, and didn’t snap until Lisa had left for the day, but fortunately she hadn’t either. With all of the busy activities going on lately, we simply [...]
June 23, 2004Uncategorized3 commentsSo, WordPress has this handy-dandy link thingy going on, so I’m going to start using it. I already have been a little bit, for things such as my daily blog reads. However, it could be handy to do comic reads too, so I’ve put the list of comics I check. I didn’t realize the list [...]
June 23, 2004UncategorizedNo commentsI have a really bad cramp in my side. It’s 6pm, and our upgrade seems alright, so I think I can go home now. Here’s to hoping this work week isn’t as busy as last week was, or as busy as today was.
June 21, 2004UncategorizedNo commentsYeah, so I’ve been bad at posting – I was hoping for some more comments on the music thing. I’ll post answers to it soonish. I have the list at work, although I’d hope I could recall my own list from memory. Anyways, more on that later.
As some of you may know, Nintendo decided to [...]
I’ve seen this meme floating about the ‘net, but I’m going to credit Mark Z. for motivating me to actually bother with it.
So, here’s the deal. The official rules are “On your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first twenty songs on the list (no matter how cheesy or embarrassing), and write down your [...]
Apple – AirPort Express
For once, Apple releases a hardware product that can be seen as useful to both PC and Mac users. It’s a bit costly and I don’t have a good way to hook it into the stereo system in the living room, but nonetheless it’s just very cool. I want one.
I feel some guilt – I was posting better on my trip than I have this week. For shame.
So, some trip wrap-up – after the last post, I met with my aunt and mom at the mall, where my aunt proceeded to buy me just about everything in the store that said “Carcassonne” on it. [...]
I’ve got more to say later, but I’m just posting this for now, so that you know I’m home. The flight was rather uneventful, but that’s a good thing. More later.
June 1, 2004UncategorizedNo commentsWell, I’m at the business center of the hotel, my bags are packed, and I’m about to check out. I’ve got a quick errand to run and then I’ll meet my mom and aunt over at the Valley West mall, where my aunt will buy me that Carcassonne game as a late graduation gift, then [...]
