Long Night

So, tonight was a long but quite fun night, not at all what I expected of the evening.

My wife and I got home today around 4:00pm, and my friend Anthony had called to say Hi and see what we were up to, so we called him back and invited him over. We’d gone the other night to see his band, The Robots, perform at the Moonlight Lounge. An interesting place, to say the least, but they were good.

So, he came over, we talked a bit, then went to eat at the brand new P.F. Chang’s that opened here, as that’s both my wife’s and my favorite Chinese restaurant on earth. Awesome food.

Then, when we got back, Anthony and I played Super Smash Bros: Melee for about 5 hours. I’m going to regret it based on how I’ll feel in the morning (which is just a few hours from now) but it was so much fun. We unlocked like seven or eight trophies and two more multiplayer stages. It was a blast. Some of my other friends aren’t really up to SSB:M, so it was nice to see someone who was stoked about it.

I’m going to bed now.
